Yes, they are still 60 microns in thickness and 110/pack just like the SKS-8810, but they are a much snugger fit so you can sleeve your card with these "inner" sleeves" and then re-sleeve the card with a second outer sleeve, either SKS-9905 or SKS-8810

But otherwise, I don't see it being too impactful

The sleeves come in a reusable cardboard box containing 100 standard size sleeves for trading cards measuring up to 63x88 mm's (2"x3")

And if you fall on the side of being opposed to any of these cards, tell your playgroup in a respectful way why you might be opposed to this subset of cards being included
