Most Lifegain decks are generally black, white, and/or green, most commonly Orzhov (black/white) or Selesnya (green/white), and Golgari (black/green)
Scarlet & Violet Paldean Fates, releasing January 26th, 2024, continues the tradition of previous special sets, Hidden Fates and Shining Fates, by focusing on Shiny Pokmon
I like this in the various Rakdos Aggro and Midrange decks that either dont care about their life total (Deaths Shadow) or plan on gaining back a bunch of life (Sheoldred, the Apocalypse)
Starring as the main commander is the duo of Shiko and Narset, Unified, coming with the new Jeskai-specific ability flurry, letting you copy your second spell each turn so long as that spell targets a permanent or player
This is an ability most likely to see play in formats where you can make your creatures unblockable and protect them, which means its big for Commander, but probably wont see much use elsewhere
